MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – January 3, 2011 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present:
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
A letter will be written to Mr. Dziedzic of 16 Meadow Drive regarding continuing the process of trading a part of his parcel (Map 116 Lot 13) for a part of the land (Map 116 Lot 10) owned by the Town of Tolland.
Year to Date financials will be handed out at the next meeting after the Department of Revenue closes out Fiscal 2010.
The Board of Selectmen will be meeting with Susan Voudren, Town Clerk in a week or two to discuss the new Open Meeting Law in regards to posting agendas.
The Selectmen’s minutes will continue to be posted on the Tolland website in a timely manner.
A schedule will be made for the Selectboard to meet with each department head to discuss their salaries.
Surrounding towns will be asked to submit their building fees so that the Selectboard can compare and discuss Tolland’s building fees.
Dates have been scheduled for the opening of the Sub Bids (Jan. 11th at 12PM) and General Contractors (Jan 19th at 2PM) and awarded on Monday, January 24th at 6PM.
Signed a proposal from ECS on the DPW asbestos survey and testing.
